90_SR0079 LRB9005705CBcb 1 SENATE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Senate were saddened to learn 3 of the death of Albin "Boley" Ogrin of Waukegan on Sunday, 4 March 16, 1997; and 5 WHEREAS, He was born in North Chicago on February 16, 6 1924; he retired in 1980 from U.S. Steel after thirty-eight 7 years of service; and 8 WHEREAS, An Army Veteran of World War II, Mr. Ogrin was a 9 member of St. Anastasia Church, St. Joseph Lodge #53 10 K.S.K.J., and the Bonnie Brook Men's Golf Association; and 11 WHEREAS, His passing will be deeply felt by his family 12 and friends, especially his wife, Bertha; his son, David; his 13 daughters, Alicia Smales and Claudia Ogrin; his 14 daughter-in-law, Sharon; his son-in-law, Richard Smales; his 15 grandchildren, Amy, Jessica, Dana, Clark, Sean, Shannon, and 16 Shealyn; and his sister, Edith Spokas; therefore, be it 17 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY 18 OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we note with sorrow and regret 19 the death of Mr. Albin "Boley" Ogrin and extend our sincere 20 condolences to his family and friends; and be it further 21 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 22 presented to his widow, Bertha Ogrin.
