1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to send
3 their sincere condolences to the family of John Z. Mickey of
4 Edison Park, Illinois; and
5 WHEREAS, John Mickey was inducted into the Chicago Senior
6 Citizens Hall of Fame in June 1997; he was a 32nd degree
7 Mason, and a member of United Lodge #211, A.F. & A.M.; Mr.
8 Mickey was active in the Edison Park Community Council and in
9 a legion of volunteer activities for the 16th District
10 Police; and
11 WHEREAS, John Mickey is survived by his loving wife
12 Margaret; his daughters Anne and Kate and her husband David
13 Porter; his sons David and John and his wife Susanne; his
14 grandson Benjamin; and his brother Donald Mickey; therefore,
15 be it
16 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY
17 OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his
18 family and friends, the death of John Z. Mickey of Edison
19 Park, Illinois; and be it further
20 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
21 presented to the family of John Z. Mickey.
