1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3 to learn of the death of Anna Zippay; and
4 WHEREAS, Anna Zippay was born on July 28, 1907 in
5 Mammoth, Pennsylvania; her parents were Mike and Verona Kozak
6 Busonic, Sr.; on February 26, 1927, she married Michael
7 Albert Zippay at Holy Trinity Church; and
8 WHEREAS, Anna Zippay was a homemaker, a member of Church
9 of the Ascension and the Altar and Rosary Society; Mrs.
10 Zippay is survived by her son, Michael Allen Zippay and his
11 wife Donna; her daughter, LaVaughn and her husband Marvin
12 Welge; her two grandsons and their wives, Michael and Barbara
13 Welge and Michael and Sandra Zippay; her four granddaughters,
14 Michele Zippay, Dawn and Joe Meegan, Mary and Mark Subick,
15 and Melinda Zippay; her three brothers, Frank and Bernadine
16 Busonic, Mike and Faye Busonic, Jr., and George Busonic; her
17 sisters, Verona and Steve Kalvin, Elizabeth and Anthony
18 Sanders, and Margaret Ban; eight great-grandchildren; and
19 several nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
20 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY
21 OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her
22 family and friends, the death of Anna Zippay; and be it
23 further
24 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
25 presented to the family of Anna Zippay, along with our
26 deepest condolences.
