1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, Senate Resolution 49 of the Ninetieth General
3 Assembly created the Task Force on Election Activities and
4 Reform to study campaign organization and finance activities;
5 and
6 WHEREAS, Senate Resolution 49 required the Task Force to
7 report its findings to the General Assembly no later than
8 November 1, 1997; and
9 WHEREAS, A thorough investigation and analysis is in the
10 best interests of the citizens of the State; therefore, be it
11 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY
12 OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, That the Task Force on Election
13 Activities and Reform continue its work and report its
14 findings to the Senate no later than January, 31, 1998
15 rather than on or before November 1, 1997.
