 1                          SENATE RESOLUTION
 2        WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to  send
 3    their  condolences to the family of Aloysius Joseph Serzynski
 4    of Waukegan, Illinois, who passed away on November  9,  1997;
 5    and
 6        WHEREAS,  Aloysius  Serzynski  was born in North Chicago,
 7    Illinois on January 30, 1923 and had lived  in  Waukegan  for
 8    the  last  forty  years;  in  1961 he retired from the United
 9    States Navy as a  Chief  Petty  Officer,  after  serving  for
10    twenty  years; Mr. Serzynski served his country in both World
11    War II and the Korean War; and
12        WHEREAS, Mr. Serzynski retired in 1986 from the  Waukegan
13    Post  Office,  where  he had served for twenty-five years; he
14    was a former member of Holy Rosary Church, a  member  of  the
15    Fleet  Reserve  Association,  and  a Waukegan Democratic Ward
16    Precinct Committeeman; and
17        WHEREAS, Aloysius Serzynski is  survived  by  his  loving
18    wife,  Nina;  his  children,  Kenneth  Serzynski and his wife
19    Donna, Brian Serzynski and his wife Fran, and Nina  Pate  and
20    her  husband Steve; his loving grandchildren, Abby, Nicholes,
21    Brian Matthew, Stefanie, Kimberly, and  Kenneth  Charles  II;
22    his   stepmother,   Mary;   his  brothers,  Julius  "Michael"
23    Serzynski and his wife Ann, Casimir "Ki"  Serzynski  and  his
24    wife  Marie, Alex Serzynski, Joe Serzynski, Stanley Serzynski
25    and his wife Elaine, and Pete Serzynski; therefore, be it
26        RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY
27    OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS,  that  we  mourn,  along  with  his
28    family  and  friends,  the  death  of  Aloysius  Serzynski of
29    Waukegan, Illinois; and be it further
30        RESOLVED, That a suitable  copy  of  this  resolution  be
31    presented to the family of Aloysius Joseph Serzynski.
