1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3 to learn of the death of Virginia Lee Wamble of Fairview
4 Heights, Illinois; and
5 WHEREAS, Virginia Wamble was a lifelong resident of
6 Fairview Heights, Illinois, growing up in the Edgemont area;
7 and
8 WHEREAS, Virginia Wamble was a member of First Baptist
9 Church of Fairview Heights, Illinois, and the Fidelis Sunday
10 School Class; Virginia was retired from Swift and Co., where
11 she worked for over thirty years, and she was a member of the
12 Swift and Co. Retired Ladies Luncheon Club; and
13 WHEREAS, Virginia Wamble is survived by her husband, Troy
14 Wamble; her three sons, Claude (Bettie) Bateman, David
15 (Diane) Wamble, and Michael (Trina) Wamble; her five
16 daughters, Shirley Roberson, Jean (Jim) Lavender, Sandy
17 (Wayne) Wood, Betty (Bill) Bogert, and Cindy (Dave) Weaver;
18 her brother, Elmon Walker and his wife Maybelle; twenty-six
19 grandchildren; thirty-two great-grandchildren; and several
20 nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
21 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY
22 OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her
23 family and friends, the death of Virginia Wamble of Fairview
24 Heights, Illinois; and be it further
25 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
26 presented to the family of Virginia Wamble.
