90_SR0157 LRB9011528CBcb 1 SENATE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Senate were saddened to learn 3 of the death of Adolph Bertucci of Lake Forest on February 4, 4 1998; and 5 WHEREAS, He was born June 3, 1918 in Highland Park; and 6 WHEREAS, He worked as a golf course superintendent 7 emeritus at Lake Shore Country Club at Glencoe for 54 years, 8 and was past president of the Midwest Golf Course 9 Superintendents of America; and 10 WHEREAS, A veteran of World War II, Adolph Bertucci was 11 also a member of the Lake Forest American Legion, member of 12 the Knights of Columbus, and member of the Immaculate 13 Conception Church in Highland Park; and 14 WHEREAS, His passing will be deeply felt be his family 15 and friends, especially his wife, Mary; his son and 16 daughter-in-law, James and Janet; his daughters and 17 sons-in-law, Joanne and Joseph Zboravan and Mimi and William 18 Aiston; his grandchildren, James Zboravan, Jennifer Bearden, 19 James Bertucci, Klernan Aiston, Sean Aiston, and Caitlin 20 Aiston; his great-grandchild, Alden Bearden; and his sister, 21 Bruna LaBelle; therefore, be it 22 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY 23 OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we extend our sincere sympathy 24 to the family and friends of Adolph Bertucci; and be it 25 further 26 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 27 presented to his widow, Mrs. Mary Bertucci.
