90_SR0174 LRB9011816KBkb 1 SENATE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to send 3 their condolences to the family of Gloria Minicia Gaitor, who 4 recently passed away; and 5 WHEREAS, Gloria Gaitor was born in Shuqualak, Mississippi 6 on January 9, 1933; her parents were Alfonzo and Gertie 7 Gaitor; at the age of three Gloria moved with her family to 8 East St. Louis, Illinois; in 1950 she graduated from Lincoln 9 High School in East St. Louis; after her graduation she moved 10 to Indianapolis, Indiana, where she met and married Vance 11 Coleman on June 28, 1952; and 12 WHEREAS, Gloria was employed with the Milwaukee Public 13 School System for more than twenty-five years, until her 14 retirement in 1990; she was a member of Incarnation Lutheran 15 Church where she was involved in many of the church's 16 activities; in recent years Gloria and her husband traveled 17 and spent time with their grandchildren; and 18 WHEREAS, Gloria Gaitor is survived by her husband, Vance 19 Coleman; her children, Michael, Michelle, Lori Lynn, and Gary 20 and his wife Lori; her sisters, Delores Merritts and her 21 husband, Charles, Barbara Hollier and her husband, Warren, 22 and Jacqueline Brock and her husband, Lou; her brother, Billy 23 and his wife, Mary; her mother-in-law, Jessie Coleman; her 24 brother-in-law, John Coleman and his wife, Delores; her five 25 grandchildren, Jamie, Emma, Dylan, Alexis, and Nicholas; her 26 aunts, Mrs. Susie Butler, Mrs. Arabella Manning, and Mrs. 27 Lola Purtue; her uncle, Mr. Grove Coleman; as well as many 28 other family and friends; therefore, be it 29 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY 30 OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn with great sadness 31 the passing of Gloria Minicia Gaitor; may her family find 32 comfort and peace in their time of need; and be it further -2- LRB9011816KBkb 1 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 2 presented to the family of Gloria Minicia Gaitor.
