90_SR0176 LRB9010171KBkbA 1 SENATE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Senate were saddened to learn 3 of the death of Larry Alan Fourez, Sr., on January 5, 1998; 4 and 5 WHEREAS, He was born in DuQuoin on September 6, 1947, the 6 son of Frank and Lawanda B. Evilsizer Fourez, Jr.; he was 7 raised in Christopher and attended Christopher Elementary and 8 High Schools; and 9 WHEREAS, He was a member of the Illinois National Guard 10 from December of 1965 through November of 1971, Sergeant E-5 11 Company B, Third Battalion 130th Infantry; and 12 WHEREAS, He married Karen Sue Jones on January 20, 1967 13 at the St. Andrews Catholic Church in Christopher; and 14 WHEREAS, He worked for Lewis Brothers Bakeries, Inc. and 15 was a member of Teamsters Local #347 for thirty years; and 16 WHEREAS, He was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church; 17 he was also a member of the Christopher American Legion and 18 the Herrin Elks Club; he enjoyed fishing and playing the 19 lottery; and 20 WHEREAS, He will be missed by his wife of thirty years, 21 Karen Sue; his children Jolie Lania Ramsey, Larry Alan 22 Fourez, Jr., Jacqueline Sue Miller, and Johnny Frank Fourez; 23 his grandchildren, Amanda Jo Ramsey, Charles Leo Ramsey III, 24 Angel Marie Fourez, Michael Ray Fourez, Cassie Lania Miller, 25 and Bessie Elizabeth Miller; his parents, Frank and Lawanda 26 Fourez, Jr.; his mother-in-law, Millie Jones; his brothers, 27 Ricky Wayne, Randall Dean, Rodney Dale, and Darrin Keith; his 28 sisters, Bunny Lou Fourez and Tami Gai Price; his 29 sister-in-law, Sharon Jones; and six nephews and three 30 nieces; therefore, be it -2- LRB9010171KBkbA 1 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY 2 OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we extend our sincere 3 condolences to the family of Larry Alan Fourez, Sr.; and be 4 it further 5 RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be 6 presented to the family of Larry Alan Fourez, Sr.
