1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Senate were saddened to learn
3 of the death of Mrs. Shirley A. Sidles of Mechanicsburg on
4 Tuesday, March 3, 1998; and
5 WHEREAS, She was born in Springfield on March 25, 1928,
6 the daughter of Frederick and Anna Schienle Peters; she was
7 married to the late Henry Sidles in 1951; and
8 WHEREAS, She retired in November of 1997 from the State
9 of Illinois Department of Central Management Services after
10 43 years of service; and
11 WHEREAS, Her passing will be deeply felt by her family
12 and friends, especially her sons, Frederick and Illinois
13 State Senate Sergeant-at-Arms Tracey; daughter, Carlyne;
14 eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister,
15 Betty Ann Hill; a niece; and a nephew; therefore, be it
16 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY
17 OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we note with sorrow and regret
18 the death of Mrs. Shirley A. Sidles and extend our deepest
19 condolences to her family and friends; and be it further
20 RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be
21 presented to the family of Mrs. Shirley A, Sidles.
