1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3 to learn of the death of Bunny Dougherty of Decatur,
4 Illinois; and
5 WHEREAS, Bernadine Dougherty was born on May 9, 1921, in
6 Springfield, Illinois; her parents were Edward and Minnie
7 Beck Brennan; in 1947 she married James F. Dougherty; and
8 WHEREAS, Bunny Dougherty was a retired case worker for
9 the Illinois Department of Public Aid; she was a member of
10 St. Thomas Catholic Church; and
11 WHEREAS, Bunny Dougherty is survived by her sons, Pat
12 Dougherty and his wife, Bev; Dennis Dougherty and his wife,
13 Karen; Timothy Dougherty; and Ed Dougherty; her sister,
14 Billie Hampton; her grandchildren, Erica, Bridget, Elizabeth,
15 Dana, Melissa, and Matthew; as well as several nieces and
16 nephews; therefore, be it
17 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY
18 OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her
19 family and friends, the death of Bunny Dougherty of Decatur;
20 and be it further
21 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
22 presented to the family of Bunny Dougherty, along with our
23 sincere condolences.
