1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3 to learn of the death of Dottie C. (Shuppert) Jenkins of
4 Belleville, Illinois, who passed away on May 27, 1998; and
5 WHEREAS, Dottie Jenkins was born in Cairo, Illinois in
6 1908; she lived in Granite City until 1991; and
7 WHEREAS, Dottie Jenkins is survived by her son, Ben
8 Shuppert and his wife, Linda; her brother, Henry H. Cover;
9 her four grandchildren, Larry Lipscomb, Terri Ann McGovern,
10 Craig Lee McGovern, and Lisa Flach; her five
11 great-grandchildren; her one great-great grandchild; and many
12 nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
13 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY
14 OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her
15 family and friends, the death of Dottie Jenkins of
16 Belleville, Illinois; to her family and friends we offer our
17 deepest sympathy in this time of need; and be it further
18 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
19 presented to the family of Dottie Jenkins.
