90_SR0230 LRB9012644KBkbA 1 SENATE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Senate were saddened to learn 3 of the death of Bernice Virginia Curry of East St. Louis on 4 June 18, 1998; and 5 WHEREAS, Miss Curry was born in Medon, Tennessee; and 6 WHEREAS, Miss Curry was employed by the Illinois 7 Department of Public Aid for twenty years; and 8 WHEREAS, Miss Curry was a member of the Truelight Baptist 9 Church Willing Workers Club; and 10 WHEREAS, Her passing will be deeply felt by her family 11 and friends, especially her children, Frederick C. Curry, 12 Adrienne Nichols, Babi Ballard, and Clifton Ballard; her 13 son-in-law, Anthony Nichols; her stepmother, Ethel Curry; and 14 her sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Francis, Leanna and 15 Johnnie German, Geneva and Wesley Momon, and Shirley and Dr. 16 Herschel Garrett; therefore, be it 17 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY 18 OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we note with sorrow and regret 19 the death of Miss Bernice Virginia Curry and extend to her 20 family and friends our deepest condolences; and be it further 21 RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be 22 presented to the family of Miss Bernice Virginia Curry, along 23 with our sincere sympathy.
