1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to
3 extend their sincere condolences to the family of Dennis
4 Crockett of Freeburg, Illinois, who passed away on September
5 10, 1998; and
6 WHEREAS, Dennis Crockett was born in East St. Louis,
7 Illinois, on April 25, 1939; Mr. Crockett was retired from
8 St. Clair County Animal Control; and
9 WHEREAS, Mr. Crockett was previously employed at Cahokia
10 Water and Sewer Co., Centreville Township, and the Illinois
11 Department of Human Services, where he worked as a
12 caseworker; Mr. Crockett was a member of American Legion Post
13 58 in Belleville, Illinois; and
14 WHEREAS, Dennis Crockett is survived by his wife, Glenda
15 L. Crockett; his sons, David Allbright and his wife Linda,
16 Gary Crockett, Brian Crockett and his wife Nenith, Dennis
17 Crockett, Jr. and his wife Michelle, and Daniel Crockett; his
18 daughters, Angela Maroon and her husband Randy, and Cynthia
19 Crockett; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Joey, Jacob, Laurie,
20 Teresa, Maria Karen, Zyralyn, Danielle, Megan, Jacquelyn, and
21 Daniel; his three great-grandchildren; and his brother,
22 Michael P. Crockett and his wife Linda; therefore, be it
23 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY
24 OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his
25 family and friends, the death of Dennis Crockett; may their
26 be a measure of peace and comfort in this time of sorrow and
27 loss; and be it further
28 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
29 presented to the family of Dennis Crockett.
