1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Senate were saddened to learn
3 of the recent death of William L. Hudson of Chicago; and
4 WHEREAS, He was born in Neshoba County, Mississippi, on
5 December 19, 1920, the son of Clara and Henry Hudson; and
6 WHEREAS, He was married to Inez Johnson in Union,
7 Mississippi, on July 11, 1942; and
8 WHEREAS, He served in the armed forces; he was highly
9 decorated and received an Honorable Discharge; and
10 WHEREAS, His passing will be deeply felt by his family
11 and friends, especially his wife, Inez; his sons, William
12 Jr., Ronald, Frank O., and Michael; his daughters, Karen Lee
13 and Sandra Robinson; his daughters-in-law, Joey, Yvonne,
14 Jerri, and Maria; his sons-in-law, Leon Lee and Larry
15 Robinson; 16 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and his
16 brothers and sisters, Booker T., Otis, Irma Doyle, and Helen
17 Watson; therefore, be it
18 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY
19 OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we note with sorrow and regret
20 the death of William L. Hudson and extend our sincere
21 condolences to his family and friends; and be it further
22 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
23 presented to his widow, Inez Hudson.
