BIGGERT.

   70 ILCS 3605/41           from Ch. 111 2/3, par. 341                        

        Amends  the  Metropolitan  Transit  Authority  Act.  Deletes  the      
   requirement that a notice must be filed with the Board and its General      
   Counsel within 6 months after the date of the injury or of the accrual      
   of the action before a person may file  a  civil  action  against  the      
   Authority for damages.

          HB 378 fails to create a State mandate.                              
          HOME RULE NOTE                                                       
          HB 378 does not preempt home rule authority.
