MEYER. (DILLARD) 720 ILCS 5/24-2 from Ch. 38, par. 24-2 Amends the Criminal Code of 1961. Exempts a peace officer while in performance of his or her official duties from the unlawful use of weapons violation if the officer carries or possesses in a vehicle or on or about his or her person a firearm or ballistic knife while hooded, robed, or masked to conceal the officer's identity.
