MORROW.

   20 ILCS 2620/7            from Ch. 127, par. 55j                            

        Amends the Narcotic Control  Division  Abolition  Act.   Provides      
   that accounts maintained for the purchase of controlled substances and      
   cannabis  for  evidence  shall  be  subject to review by audits of the      
   Auditor General.  Effective immediately.                                    
          JUDICIAL NOTE                                                        
          The bill would not either decrease or increase the need for          
          the number of judges in the state.                                   
          STATE MANDATES FISCAL NOTE                                           
          In the opinion of DCCA, HB1290 fails to create a State mandate       
          under the State Mandates Act.                                        
          CORRECTIONAL NOTE                                                    
          This legislation has no fiscal or prison population impact on        
          the Dept. of Corrections.
