KENNER. 20 ILCS 1120/7 new Amends the Energy Policy and Planning Act. Requires the Department of Natural Resources to develop an energy efficiency fact sheet relating to residential property. Provides that, upon request, the Department shall conduct presentations on energy efficiency matters. Requires the Department to distribute the fact sheets to all mortgage lenders in Illinois. Requires the mortgage lenders to make the fact sheets available to the public. STATE MANDATES FISCAL NOTE In the opinion of DCCA, HB1423 fails to create a State mandate.
