(LAUZEN)

   20 ILCS 605/46.19a        from Ch. 127, par. 46.19a                         

        Amends the Civil Administrative Code  of  Illinois  by  adding  a      
   caption  to  a Section concerning grants provided by the Department of      
   Commerce and Community Affairs.                                             
        HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                 
        Provides that DCCA may award grants to foster  cooperation  among      
   Illinois  businesses  by  emphasizing an industry-wide or sector-based      
   approach to business assistance.  Provides that grant recipients shall      
   be not-for-profit corporations whose purpose is to promote  industrial      
   and business development.
