HOFFMAN-DAVIS,STEVE-HOLBROOK-DURKIN-TURNER,JOHN AND ACEVEDO.

   720 ILCS 5/18-5                                                             

        Amends the Criminal Code of 1961.  Provides that the  offense  of      
   aggravated robbery is committed by a person committing a robbery while      
   indicating  to  the  victim that he or she is presently armed with any      
   dangerous weapon  (now  limited  to  a  firearm).   Defines  dangerous      
   weapon.  Effective immediately.

          No decrease or increase in need for number of judges in State.
