MCAULIFFE-WOOD. (DUDYCZ) 15 ILCS 205/4c from Ch. 14, par. 4c Amends the Attorney General Act. Provides that the Attorney General's investigators shall cooperate with municipal police and county police in enforcing the laws of the State and in making arrests and recovering property. Effective immediately. GOVERNOR'S AMENDATORY VETO MESSAGE Adds reference to: 20 ILCS 2605/55a Recommends restoring provision that the Attorney General's in- vestigators must first contact local law enforcement officials before conducting their investigations. Provides that the contact with a local law enforcement official or agency need not be made if the official or agency is the subject of the investigation.
