CLAYBORNE. 110 ILCS 805/3-26.2 new Amends the Public Community College Act. Requires community college boards to achieve a ratio between full-time faculty members and part-time teachers under which at least 75% of all full-time equivalent teaching positions are held by full-time faculty members and not more than 25% of all full-time equivalent teaching positions are held by part-time teachers. Provides for a phase-in that begins with fiscal year 1998 and that requires a community college district to use 33% of the increase in its annual distribution formula grants each fiscal year to achieve the required ratio between full-time and part-time teachers holding full-time equivalent teaching positions in the district.
