Provides the order shall also include a provision requiring that both the obligor and obligee parent advise each other of a change in residence within 5 days of the change. JUDICIAL NOTE There may be an increase in judicial workloads; it is not pos- sible to determine impact on the number of judges needed. FISCAL NOTE (Dpt. Public Aid) No additional administrative expenditures from SB368. STATE MANDATES FISCAL NOTE (DCCA) SB368 fails to create a State mandate. HOME RULE NOTE SB 368 does not preempt home rule authority. HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1. Provides that in addition to reporting to the obligee the obligor must report to the clerk of the court and that the report must be made within 10 days and be in writing, including the name and address of the new employer. Provides that failure to report new employment or termination of employment is indirect criminal contempt if it is coupled with nonpayment of support for a period in excess of 60 days. GOVERNOR'S AMENDATORY VETO MESSAGE Recommends that the provision requiring each party to report to the other within 5 days of a change of address be amended to provide an exception when the court finds that the physical, mental, or emo- tional health of a party or that of a minor child, or both, would be seriously endangered by the disclosure of the party's address. 97-02-05 S FIRST READING 97-02-05 S REFERRED TO SENATE RULES COMMITTEE RULES 97-02-06 S ASSIGNED TO COMMITTEE JUDICIARY 97-02-27 S HELD IN COMMITTEE 97-03-05 S DO PASS 008-000-000 SJUD 97-03-05 S PLACED ON CALENDAR ORDER OF 2ND READING 97-03-06 97-03-11 S SECOND READING 97-03-11 S PLACED ON CALENDAR ORDER OF 3RD READING 97-03-12 97-03-12 S ADDED AS A CHIEF CO-SPONSOR SHAW 97-03-12 S THIRD READING - PASSED 057-000-000 97-03-12 H ARRIVE IN HOUSE 97-03-12 H PLACED CALENDAR ORDER OF FIRST READING 97-03-18 H HOUSE SPONSOR SANTIAGO 97-03-18 H FIRST READING 97-03-18 H REFERRED TO HOUSE RULES COMMITTEE RULES 97-03-21 H ASSIGNED TO COMMITTEE JUD-CIVIL LAW 97-04-14 H ADDED AS A JOINT SPONSOR BROSNAHAN 97-04-30 H ALTERNATE PRIMARY SPONSOR CHANGED TO BROSNAHAN 97-04-30 H JOINT-ALTERNATE-SPONSOR CHANGED TO SANTIAGO 97-05-01 H ADDED AS A JOINT SPONSOR GASH 97-05-02 H JUDICIAL NOTE FILED 97-05-02 H COMMITTEE JUD-CIVIL LAW 97-05-05 H FISCAL NOTE FILED 97-05-05 H COMMITTEE JUD-CIVIL LAW 97-05-06 H STATE MANDATES FISCAL NOTE FILED 97-05-06 H HOME RULE NOTE FILED 97-05-06 H COMMITTEE JUD-CIVIL LAW 97-05-06 H ADDED AS A JOINT SPONSOR ERWIN 97-05-07 H DO PASS/SHORT DEBATE 011-000-000 HJUA 97-05-07 H PLACED CALENDAR 2ND READING-SHORT DEBATE 97-05-08 H SECOND READING-SHORT DEBATE 97-05-08 H PLCD CAL ORDER 3RD READING-SHORT DEBATE 97-05-09 H RECALLED TO SECOND READING-SHORT DEBATE 97-05-09 H HELD ON CAL ORDER 2ND RDG - SHORT DEBATE 97-05-13 H ADDED AS A JOINT SPONSOR SCHOENBERG 97-05-15 H AMENDMENT NO. 01-BROSNAHAN 97-05-15 H AMENDMENT REFERRED TO HRUL 97-05-15 H AMENDMENT NO. 01-BROSNAHAN 97-05-15 H BE ADOPTED HRUL/003-002-000 97-05-15 H AMENDMENT NO. 01-BROSNAHAN 97-05-15 H ADOPTED 97-05-15 H PLCD CAL ORDER 3RD READING-SHORT DEBATE 97-05-15 H THIRD READING/SHORT DEBATE/PASSED 111-006-001 97-05-16 S SECRETARYS DESK - CONCURRENCE 01 97-05-16 S FILED WITH SECRETARY 97-05-16 S MOTION TO CONCUR - HOUSE AMENDMENT NO 01/O'MALLEY 97-05-16 S MOTION REFERRED TO SRUL 97-05-20 S MOTION TO CONCUR - HOUSE AMENDMENT NO 01/O'MALLEY 97-05-20 S RULES REFERS TO SJUD 97-05-21 S MOTION TO CONCUR - HOUSE AMENDMENT NO 01/O'MALLEY 97-05-21 S BE APPROVED FOR CONSIDERATION SJUD/010-000-000 97-05-21 S MOTION TO CONCUR - HOUSE AMENDMENT NO 01/O'MALLEY 97-05-21 S SEN CONCURS IN HSE AMENDMENTS (NO.) 01/058-000-000 97-05-21 S PASSED BOTH HOUSES 97-06-19 S SENT TO THE GOVERNOR 97-08-16 S GOVERNOR AMENDATORY VETO 97-10-16 S PLACED CALENDAR AMENDATORY VETO OCTOBER 28, 1997 97-10-28 S MOTION FILED ACCEPT AMENDATORY VETO O'MALLEY 97-10-29 S ACCEPT AMENDATORY VETO - SENATE PASSED 057-000-000 97-10-30 H ARRIVE IN HOUSE 97-10-30 H PLACED CALENDAR AMENDATORY VETO NOVEMBER 12, 1997 97-11-12 H MOTION FILED ACCEPT AMENDATORY VETO #1/BROSNAHAN 97-11-12 H MOTION REFERRED TO HRUL 97-11-12 H APPROVED FOR CONSIDERATION - COMPLIANCE #1/HRUL 97-11-12 H PLACED CALENDAR AMENDATORY VETO 97-11-13 H ACCEPT AMENDATORY VETO - HOUSE PASSED 118-000-000 97-11-13 S BOTH HOUSES ACCEPT AMENDATORY VETO 97-11-26 S RETURNED TO GOVERNOR FOR CERTIFICATION 97-12-01 S GOVERNOR CERTIFIES CHANGES 97-12-01 S EFFECTIVE DATE 98-06-01 97-12-01 S PUBLIC ACT.............................. 90-0539 END OF INQUIRY Full Text Bill Summary
