MAHAR.

(HASSERT)

   420 ILCS 40/39            from Ch. 111 1/2, par. 210-39                     

        Amends the Radiation Protection  Act  of  1990  to  provide  that      
   persons who knowingly make false material statements to the Department      
   of  Nuclear  Safety  are  subject  to  criminal  penalties.  Effective      
   immediately.                                                                
          FISCAL NOTE (Dept. Nuclear Safety)                                   
          While SB816 gives the Dpt. additional enforcement tools, it          
          does not add to the cost of the Department.
