DEMUZIO. 40 ILCS 5/14-110 from Ch. 108 1/2, par. 14-110 Amends the State Employee Article of the Pension Code to provide the alternative (State Police) formula for arson investigators employed by the Office of the State Fire Marshal. Allows a former arson investigator who is no longer in service but not yet receiving a retirement annuity to convert his or her creditable service for service as an arson investigator into eligible creditable service by paying the difference in contribution rates. Effective immediately.
