BUILD ILL BOND ACT-REDUCTION                                               

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Build Illinois Bond Act by reducing by  $1  the  total      
   principal  amount  of  bonds  authorized  under  this  Act.  Effective      
   immediately.                                                                
          STATE DEBT IMPACT NOTE                                               
          HB109 decreases the State's authority to issue, sell and retire      
          Build Illinois Bonds by $1.                                          
          FISCAL NOTE (Bureau of Budget)                                       
          No increase or decrease in state expenditures or revenues.           
          BALANCED BUDGET NOTE                                                 
          HB 109 does not affect any FY98 general funds appropriation.
