Adds a definition of "willful or wanton misconduct" applicable to the Act generally (replacing a definition applicable to only one Section of the Act). With respect to physicians' exemption from civil liability for emergency care, deletes requirement that care be provided without prior notice of the illness or injury. Adds exemption from civil liability for emergency care provided by physician volunteers at sports, religious, or public events. Makes provisions of the Act gender neutral. Makes other changes.
