PEN CD-DNST FIRE-NEW BOARD                                                 

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Downstate Firefighter Article  of  the  Pension  Code.      
   Changes  the  number  and  manner of selecting members of the board of      
   trustees.   Reconstitutes  the  existing  boards  on  July  1,   1998.      
   Effective immediately.
