Short description: VEH CD-SEAT BELT-UNDER AGE 19 Synopsis of Bill as introduced: Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code to require a motor vehicle passenger less than 19 years of age to wear a seat safety belt. Provides that a driver transporting a person 6 years of age or more but less than 19 (instead of 16) years of age in the motor vehicle (instead of the front seat of the motor vehicle) shall secure the person in a seat safety belt.
