Effective immediately. FISCAL NOTE (State & Local Labor Relations Boards) There will be a minimal impact on HB 896. HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1. Provides that persons who are employed by a combined department that performs both police and firefighting services shall be governed by the arbitration provisions relating to peace officers rather than the provisions relating to firefighters.
