Short description: 
PHARM PRAC-LABELING DIV II-III                                             

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Pharmacy Practice Act of 1987 to provide for staggered      
   terms for members of the State Board of Pharmacy  beginning  April  1,      
   1999.  Revises  definitions of "pharmacy", "prescription", "dispense",      
   and "patient counseling". Provides that the Department of Professional      
   Regulation shall adopt rules concerning labeling in  Division  II  and      
   Division  III  pharmacies  and  the  use  of  automated dispensing and      
   storage systems. Allows pharmacies and drugstores to retain records in      
   an  alternative  data  retention  system  under   stated   conditions.      
   Effective immediately.
