VEH CD-SILVER STAR PLATE                                                   

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code to  authorize  the  issuance  of      
   special  registration  plates  to  Illinois  residents  who  have been      
   awarded the Silver Star by the United States Armed  Forces.   Provides      
   for  increased  fees  for  these  plates,  to  be  deposited  into the      
   Secretary of State Special License Plate Fund.                              
        HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                 
        Adds an immediate effective date.
