Requires the Department of Human Services to study the feasibility of using telemedicine technology for individuals living in rural areas and homebound individuals. Requires the Department to issue an interim report to the General Assembly by January 1, 1998 and a final report by July 1, 1998. Effective July 1, 1997. HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1. Deletes reference to: 20 ILCS 1305/10-30 new Adds reference to: 20 ILCS 2305/8.3 new Deletes everything. Amends the Department of Public Health Act.
