Short description: 
CRIM CD-VOLUNTARY ACT-TECH                                                 

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Criminal Code of 1961.  Makes a grammatical change  in      
   Section defining "voluntary act".                                           
        HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                 
          Deletes reference to:                                                
          720 ILCS 5/4-1                                                       
          Adds reference to:                                                   
          720 ILCS 5/3-5                  from Ch. 38, par. 3-5                
          720 ILCS 5/3-6                  from Ch. 38, par. 3-6                
        Deletes the title  and  everything  after  the  enacting  clause.      
   Amends  the  Criminal  Code  of 1961.  Provides that a prosecution for      
   criminal sexual assault, aggravated criminal sexual assault, predatory      
   criminal sexual assault of a child, aggravated criminal sexual  abuse,      
   or  criminal sexual abuse when the victim was under 18 years of age at      
   the time of the offense may be commenced at any time.

        Deletes everything. Amends the Criminal Code of 1961.    Provides      
   that  if the identity of the accused is unknown and at the time of the      
   offense physical evidence is collected that is capable of being tested      
   for its DNA  characteristics  which  would  identify  the  accused,  a      
   prosecution for predatory criminal sexual assault of a child, criminal      
   sexual  assault or aggravated criminal sexual assault may be commenced      
   at any time.
