House Sponsors: GASH-LANG. Short description: SCHOOLS-REPORT CRIMES Synopsis of Bill as introduced: Amends the School Code and the Criminal Code of 1961. Requires school principals and other appropriate administrative officers of public and nonpublic elementary and secondary schools to report to local law enforcement agencies felony and misdemeanor violations that occur in the schools or at school related activities supervised by school employees. Violations are petty offenses with $500 fines imposed for each incident of criminal violations not reported.
