House Sponsors: O'BRIEN. Short description: MOBILE HOME PARK OMBUDSMAN Synopsis of Bill as introduced: Amends the Mobile Home Landlord and Tenant Rights Act. Creates the office of Mobile Home Park Ombudsman, appointed by the Governor. Directs the Ombudsman to act as a liaison between the State and mobile home park owners and tenants and to receive and investigate complaints related to mobile home park owners. Authorizes the Ombudsman to refer possible violations of the Act to the Attorney General for enforcement. FISCAL NOTE (DCCA) HB2577 will have no fiscal impact.
