Short description: INCOME TX-DEDUCT-HEALTH CARE Synopsis of Bill as introduced: Amends the Illinois Income Tax Act to allow individual taxpayers, 65 years of age or older, a deduction for unreimbursed amounts spent on home health care services. Applicable to taxable years ending on or after December 31, 1998. Provides that this deduction may not reduce the taxpayer's liability to less than zero. Exempts the deduction from the sunset provisions. Effective immediately.
