ST TREAS-COUNTIES-TRAINING                                                 

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Counties Code to provide that the State Treasurer (now      
   State  Comptroller)  shall  administer  a  county  treasurer  training      
   program.  Amends the State Treasurer Act to provide for the conducting      
   of  the  county  treasurer  training  program.    Amends   the   State      
   Comptroller  Act to repeal the Section concerning the county treasurer      
   training program.  Effective July 1, 1998.
