$SUPREME COURT-CIRCT CLERKS                                                

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Appropriates $102,000 to the Supreme Court  for  the  purpose  of      
   implementing  Public  Act 90-95 (which increased the annual award paid      
   to circuit clerks for performing certain additional statutory  duties)      
   for the fiscal year ending July 1, 1998.  Effective immediately.
