House Sponsors: GASH. Short description: LIQUOR-RESTRICT ALCOHOL SALES Synopsis of Bill as introduced: Amends the Liquor Control Act of 1934. Provides that no license shall be issued to any person for the sale at retail of any alcoholic liquor at any place of business which sells motor fuel at retail for motor vehicles. FISCAL NOTE (Liquor Control Commission) Dram Shop Fund revenues would be reduced by $130,000 (4%) annu- ally; Commission would need to lay off a minimum of 3 employees or petition a liquor license fee increase of 5%; transfers to DHS Youth Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Prevention Fund would be reduced $37,300 annually.
