PROP TX-NOTICE-JUDGMENT-SALE                                               

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Property Tax Code.  Requires the county  collector  to      
   mail  a  notice  of a forthcoming application for judgment and sale to      
   the person in whose name the taxes were last assessed,  the  owner  of      
   record,  and  to  persons  specified  in the Senior Citizens Homestead      
   Exemption (now, the person in whose name the taxes were last  assessed      
   and  persons  specified  in  the Senior Citizens Homestead Exemption).      
   Effective immediately.
