Provides that the remarriage of the surviving spouse of a county police officer does not operate to terminate the surviving spouse benefit if the remarriage occurs on or after the effective date of this amendatory Act. Amends the State Mandates Act to require implementation without reimbursement. Effective immediately. PENSION NOTE SB924 would have a minor fiscal impact.
