Short description: ELECT CD-$500 OR MORE-REPORT Synopsis of Bill as introduced: Amends the Election Code to provide that the Board shall assess a civil penalty of not more than $5,000 if a political committee fails to report within 2 days a contribution of $500 or more received during the 30 day period before the election. Increases the maximum penalty which the Board may impose for violations of the Campaign Contribu- tions and Expenditures Disclosure Article from $1,000 to $5,000.
