Provides that a conviction for an offense that disqualifies an office holder from holding his or her office shall occur on the date of the return of a guilty verdict or the entry of a finding of guilt. Further amends the Illinois Municipal Code to provide that admission of guilt of a criminal offense that disqualifies an office holder from holding his or her office, in the form of a written agreement to plead guilty to a felony, bribery, perjury, or other infamous crime, shall constitute a resignation from office. Effective immediately. FISCAL NOTE (State Board of Elections) Minimal fiscal impact on the operations of the Board. HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 2. Deletes reference to: 10 ILCS 5/25-2 65 ILCS 5/3.1-10-50 Adds reference to: 70 ILCS 2605/4 from Ch. 42, par. 323 Deletes everything. Amends the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District Act.
