Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Health Care Worker Background Check Act by making a         
   technical change.                                                           
        SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 2.                                                
          Deletes reference to:                                                
          225 ILCS 46/20                                                       
          Adds reference to:                                                   
          225 ILCS 60/9.7 new                                                  
          225 ILCS 60/19                  from Ch. 111, par. 4400-19           
        Deletes everything.  Amends the Medical Practice Act of  1987  to      
   require  the  Department  of  Professional  Regulation  to  require an      
   applicant for a license under provisions  allowing  a  license  to  be      
   issued  without  examination  to a person in another state, territory,      
   country, or province to undergo a criminal background check.

          This bill has no fiscal or prison population impact.
