Short description: PEN CD-METRO PIER & EXPO AUTH Synopsis of Bill as introduced: Amends the Illinois Pension Code to allow a current or former employee of the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority to buy service credit in any retirement system under the Reciprocal Act. Requires payment of employee contributions but not employer contributions or interest. Allows a person establishing this credit to reinstate credits previously terminated by refund. Amends the State Mandates Act to require implementation without reimbursement. Effective immediately.
