1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 107
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 107 on page 4, by
3 replacing lines 4 through 10 with the following:
4 "(k) If an applicant claims to be a veteran, the
5 Department of Central Management Services must verify that
6 status before granting a veteran preference by requiring a
7 certified copy of the applicant's most recent DD214
8 (Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty) or
9 other evidence of the applicant's most recent honorable
10 discharge from the Armed Forces of the United States that is
11 determined to be acceptable by the Department of Central
12 Management Services.".
