1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 530
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 530 as follows:
3 on page 1, by replacing lines 10 through 12 with the
4 following:
5 "(a) No candidate may knowingly receive any contribution
6 solicited or"; and
7 on page 1, line 15, by deleting "and holding"; and
8 on page 2, line 2, by deleting "officer or"; and
9 on page 2, line 6, by deleting "officer"; and
10 on page 2, line 7, by replacing "or employee" with
11 "employee"; and
12 on page 2, by replacing line 8 with the following:
13 "duties to investigate or inspect, and enforce, regulatory";
14 and
15 on page 2, by replacing lines 11 through 14 with the
16 following:
17 "(b) A public employee convicted of committing
18 solicitation misconduct forfeits his or her employment. In
19 addition, he or she commits a Class A misdemeanor."; and
20 on page 2, line 18, by deleting "officers and"; and
