1 AN ACT to amend the State Universities Civil Service Act
2 by changing Section 36m.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The State Universities Civil Service Act is
6 amended by changing Section 36m as follows:
7 (110 ILCS 70/36m) (from Ch. 24 1/2, par. 38b12)
8 Sec. 36m. Temporary appointments. For positions which
9 are temporary or of an emergency nature, the Merit Board may
10 authorize temporary appointments for not more than 3 three
11 months, to be made from names on an eligible register when
12 such register exists.
